Kendall Jenner Was Reportedly Hospitalized Before the Oscars

Kendall Jenner was reportedly hospitalized before the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty last Sunday. According to People, the model suffered a bad reaction to a cocktail of vitamins administered through an IV drip.

She was briefly treated at LA’s Cedars-Sinai hospital, before appearing on the red carpet later that night.

Intravenous drips are used to administer medications or solutions to a patient directly into their bloodstream. However, in recent years, “IV clinics” such as The Hangover Club and Revive Me are offering vitamin cocktails through an IV that they say improve hydration, help the patient recover from jetlag or hangovers, and promote “glowy hydrated skin.”

Dr. Johnathann Kuo, health specialist and founder of Hudson Wellness, told Vogue: “Some places check for specific vitamin deficiencies before an infusion, however, most places do not,” he said. “A complete medical history should always be taken before an infusion and reviewed with a medical professional before an infusion.

” While side effects are rare, if not safely administered, the procedure can cause bruises, inflammation, and blood clots. What do you think of this health trend? Would you try it? Let us know in the comments below. In other news, here’s how sexist imagery is affecting the streetwear industry.
