Kim Kardashian heads to NYC with sisters Kourtney and Kendall to receive first CFDA Influencer Award
She spent the day celebrating her daughter North West's fifth birthday with friends and family.
But it was back to work for Kim Kardashian on Sunday night, photographed in a private jet en route to New York City ahead of the Council Of Fashion Designers America (CFDA) awards.
There as the recipient of the first Influencer Award, the 37-year-old was joined by sisters Kourtney, 39, and Kendall Jenner, 22.

'Over the past decade, Kim Kardashian West has mastered the meaning of influence in the digital age,' said CFDA Chairwoman Diane von Furstenberg in a press release.
Kim's prestigious award comes after the star not only maintains a social media following of over 200 million but also runs fashion and beauty brands.

And while many are already congratulating Kim on the prestigious award she'll receive at Monday's fashion night of nights, some industry designers are less than impressed.
'It’s ridiculous,' said one fashion insider to the New York Post.

The CFDA, named the Oscars of fashion, is made up of a council including designers Carolina Herrera, Diane von Furstenberg, Ralph Lauren and Zac Posen.

This year, Naomi Campbell will receive the Fashion Icon award and the evening will be hosted by actress Issa Rae.
Presenters will include Cate Blanchett, Lupita Nyong'o, Claire Danes and Busy Phillips.
